Welcome to the world, Baby Natalie!

I can’t believe I’m writing about Julia’s daughter nearly ten days before she was due to arrive. She didn’t even manage to arrive in the correct year, as her father pointed out proudly at the hospital this evening.

Mary and I went in to visit them and to deliver gifts from all the Bailey Bookworms. We checked first in case they’d be coming home already but because Julia had an emergency c-section she has to stay in for a few extra days. Her husband and their little boy Evan were leaving when we arrived. The hospital limits visitors to two at a time so there’s a carefully arranged schedule amongst Julia’s family and friends.
