This diary is full of me begin the brave librarian who comes up with all the ideas. Of course that’s not always true. Maybe 95% of the time, but not always. The Art Lending Programme is a case in point.

It wasn’t my idea. Naturally it wasn’t Linda’s either. I mean, seriously, I don’t think Linda has had a library related idea in her entire life. I’m still trying to work out if she ever did a library studies course or any training. Anyhow, it was Boss Lady’s idea.

Except it wasn’t. She totally stole it from Library HQ’s blog. I found it there two days after the meeting, from an old post about The Role of Culture in Libraries. Their blog is so pompous I thought nobody except me ever read it. Turns out Boss Lady is a subscriber too.
