My Dad loves the medical drama “House” staring Hugh Laurie. He has it on DVD and inflicts it on Mum every year or two. I think the main reason is the soundtrack as Dad has always been a huge Rolling Stones fan and they feature their songs. I must pop in to see them this weekend. I haven’t a clue what to buy Mum for Christmas, maybe Dad will have an idea I can borrow.

Today is Saturday so my day kicked off with choosing a handful of picture books for Story Time. As it’s December I had to feature “How the Grinch Stole Christmas” but I threw in a couple of our regular favourites too. The kids are open to new stories but they reserve their real love for the stories they’ve heard a zillion times already.
