It’s November again. I’ve discovered this means the library will be busy with writing as well as reading. Most writers are also readers so it’s kind of a circular thing, a virtuous rather than vicious cycle. Thanks to Catherine, our region’s National Novel Writing Month organiser I don’t have to do much to facilitate this particular creative challenge.

Honestly that’s a huge relief as far too often somebody (often Boss Lady) will decide the library should provide something to the community and then all the details and work is left for me to arrange. Because Catherine has been running writing sessions for years now and has the entire thing under control all I really need to do is add the weekly sessions to our event calendar and regular mailing list and book them into the community meet...
