It will be years, probably decades, before I get a shot at Boss Lady’s job, and I’m not entirely sure I’d want it as it would take me away from what I love about the library - the books. But if I ever assume the role of Chief Librarian I will be ready to manage even the most useless of staff members because of the experience I’ve gained in the last ten days.
