Boss Lady went on a training course last week entitled “Staff Motivation and Retention”. When I saw it on her calendar I feared it would cause trouble.

I’ve decided over the last year that Boss Lady is an alright manager. She has a tendency to communicate, or rather fail to communicate, in buzzwords and management-speak, but most of the time she leaves us alone which lets us work. I say we, but I mean me, of course, as Linda spends most of her day avoiding work via endless cups of tea in the break room.
