I’ve discovered the only way to get anything done in our library is to ask for forgiveness rather than permission. Basically, I push on and do stuff while hoping Linda and Boss Lady don’t object to the finished result. So far this month I’ve created a Christmas tree from old books, bought (and unleashed) an Elf on the Shelf, and booked the three of us in for a pre-Christmas work lunch at the Goose Inn.

Boss Lady loved the book tree when she came in the next morning. She insisted we put it in our monthly library email newsletter and on all our social media feeds.
