It’s November and in Book World that means one thing - National Novel Writing Month. Catherine, our local organiser, confirmed last month that she’d love to use the community meeting room again and this time we’re running one of her write-in sessions every Thursday evening.

The regular writing group is still campaigning for a poetry workshop, but Boss Lady refuses to grant funding to hire a facilitator. Apparently she hates poetry. Between her and my book-hating senior librarian I wonder about my colleagues at times. Why on earth did they decide to work in a library?
