Probably the biggest mistake I made in my first year as a librarian at Castle Bailey Library was to fix that cursed printer. It is my nemesis and over the past year my presumed technology skills, which in reality rely heavily on the Google search engine, have brought me much hassle and very little reward. No, let’s be honest, they have brought me massive hassle and zero reward.

Today was one of those Tech Support Days. Since Boss Lady found out I have a book blog as well as the ability to re-fill the ink in our cranky old printer, she has decided I am the Bill Gates of the library. I bet Bill doesn’t have to do tech support, he probably has people for that. I suspect his salary is a tiny bit larger than mine too.
