This may be a secret diary but it doesn’t contain as many secrets as the Teen Book Club. It has survived its initial trial period of three meetings and we now have between ten and fourteen members at every meeting, not counting me.

I don’t count because I’m not a teen, but so far I’ve been allowed to join the meetings and as I’ve liked all the books they’ve chosen so far I’ve even been permitted to give some book feedback now and then. This is probably because they elected Simon, our library teen, to be their leader and he seems to like me. I’m assuming he likes me because I’m the only librarian he ever speaks to without blushing like crazy.
