No library is big enough to hold every book in the world.

Maybe the American Library of Congress or the British Library - that’s part of their role, but certainly not any local public library like the one where I work. We can’t afford all the new releases and we don’t have the space to keep all the old releases.

I caught Linda last week trying to add “A Tale of Two Cities” and “Ulysses” to the book sale crate. “Nobody ever reads these, Nina.”
