Today was a colourful day and a busy one. Linda was hiding in the break room again pretending to work on plans for our Christmas events. The library closes over the break, of course, but Boss Lady wants us to run festive events during December and Linda has been tagged to organise them.
This means she will get me to do all the work and she’ll take the credit. In the meantime I decided to get on with some chores I’d been postponing. First up, ordering coloured ink cartridges for my nemesis, the library printer. The font in the instruction manual is tiny but I had finally deciphered the cartridge serial codes so I could find them online and order them.
The codes, of course, consisted of a dozen digits, and each time I reached the correct ordering page on the council’s procureme...
