The Twentieth First Date
Beth stood just inside the door of Paint and Pour, looking around. She had agreed to meet Oliver and Mark’s friend, Simon, and it dawned on her that although they had both proclaimed him to be adorable and artsy, she had no idea what that actually meant, and wasn’t sure what he looked like.
The room was lined with long tables with easels, canvases, and painting supplies spaced out in between. Some artists were already sitting in front of their canvases, chatting and sipping glasses of wine. In the back of the room, there was a bar. She wasn’t the greatest artist when she was sober, so she didn’t really think drinking would help her artistic endeavors.
