The Fifteenth First Date

Beth picked up her iced latte and sat down across from Ezra, the yoga teacher she had just sweated through a forty-five minute hot yoga session with. She thought it was a little odd, doing hot yoga in the middle of the summer, but she could see how it would probably be a fantastic idea between the months of November and February. Still, she had enjoyed stretching her muscles and finally making it into the crow pose, and she looked forward to getting to know more about Ezra, the guy who had placed his hands on her hips and back multiple times during class as he’d adjusted her poses.

“So, how long have you been a yoga teacher?” she asked, sipping her latte.

“Five years,” he said.
