Bridgette came around the house with a bright orange pumpkin in her thin arms. Vera perked up, seeing her favorite food. She stalked forward towards Bridgette, trilling at her though she didn’t need to make any noise to get her attention. The youngest of the sisters grinned at her and tossed the pumpkin at Vera, who caught it in her mouth and crunched into it happily.
