“I don’t think we should go that way.” Mary mumbled as Xavier trudged along the densely wooded path. The quarter moon was the only light the two had to go by, and there was no way for them to know if they were heading towards civilization or horror movie territory.

            “What would you know? You’re the one that thought we wouldn’t need the GPS.” Xavier scowled into the darkening wood.

            “I just thought it would be nice for us to have as little technology as possible on our hike. I thought it would be romantic.” Mary cowered at Xavier’s attitude, knowing that their third anniversary had not gone the way she had hope...
