CHAPTER THIRTY THREE

Garrett gasped. When he opened his eyes light blinded him. He heard the sound of beeping.

He looked to his right. He smiled.

Ember was asleep in the chair.

 He was back.

“Ember,” he said.

She stirred and opened her eyes.

“Garrett!” she reached for his hand. “You’re awake.”

“I went back into the past.”

“What?”
 

“I was back in 1991 in our hometown. I saw you and Thalia. It really happened Ember. I was sent back to change history.”
