CHAPTER SIXTEEN

Garrett’s conversation with Ember spurred him on more. Now he really needs to get into action. He was about to see Thalia’s parent. They didn’t know he would be arriving, nor Thalia. He didn't tell her about it because he knew she would probably stop him. But he needed to face them.

He parked outside the gates. Looking at the huge house. It was a old fashioned version of his future house. Is that why he designed it that way? He never thought about it.

Garrett walked up to the house and knocked on the door, the dogs behind the gates in the back barking loudly making him even more nervous.
