CHAPTER SEVEN

He knew he was doing something stupid. But in his mind it made sense. He'd been putting it off for a long time. Garrett remembered the excitement and then complete terror he felt when he first realized Thalia lived in the same city as him. He knew exactly where she worked and sometimes he had the urge to go there and talk to her. But he was afraid. A part of him hoped it wasn't too late. It had been three years since he knew. He stopped in front of the buildings. He knew she worked at an art studio next to the open area shopping mall. He climbed out of his car and walked up the stairs towards the shopping mall. People walked past him some with shopping bags, all looking happy. He didn't share the same feeling. His insides felt like they were being torn to pieces. Nervou...
