CHAPTER SIXTEEN

Rori made dinner, for one again. She was chopping the onions, when she started humming a tune. It was only when she wondered what tune it was that she realized someone was playing music outside. Violin music. She ran towards the door. When she opened up she saw Paisley, standing there with a violin in hand and smiling at her. She looked at her confused but smiled back. Paisley played again and Rori closed her eyes and listened to the music. She remembered Paisley words from the other night when they watched the scene in the movie.

When Paisley finished the song Rori said,

“I didn’t think I would see you again.”

Paisley smiled.

“You make it hard to stay away.”
