CHAPTER FOUR

"Hey, it’s okay," Rori said patting the girl on the back. She was a mess and Rori didn't know what to do. "Uh, I can drive you to a shelter."
This only caused the girl in front of her to cry louder. Wrong choice of words.
"Okay, not a shelter. Maybe…"
No, don’t do it. It’s not your responsibility. This could be some kind of trick. She could be a serial killer for all you know. But Rori knew it was too late. Her conscience had already decided for her.
"Would you like to have a place to stay? You could stay over at mine until you find a place to go…"
