CHAPTER TWO

Rori pushed him off of her. She zipped up her pants, hardly able to see because of her tears. He tried to touch her arm and she pulled away.
“Don’t touch me!”

“Babe,” he said.

“She slammed the door and made her way down the stairs. The party was still going on and no one knew what had just happened. That Rori’s life had just changed.

She made her way through the crowd when her friend stopped her.

“Rori? What’s wrong?”

Rori sniffed.

“I can’t talk right now.”

She pushed passed her and didn’t stop walking until she reached her car. She drove away, afraid that he might come after her. What would she do if he did?
