It still felt unreal what I was doing. But it was the first time in my life something felt so right.

We performed the show and as soon as the audience started to realize what was going on some people start walking out. Some people kept sitting and sniggered, laughed and booed. But as the show came near a close people started getting quieter, focusing on what was happening on stage. And as Kurt said his last words to me and I sealed the scene with a kiss to his lips all we heard around us was the thundering applause from the audience.

The other cast members came out and Kurt and I and the rest held hands and bowed.

Kurt looked at me and smiled.

And as we looked out towards the crowd for the first time I felt that elusive feeling I’d dreamed of for so lon...
