Alex is at the game and he’s playing but doing really bad

It was game night. I tried not to remind myself that it was also the night of the show.

And tonight I was playing. Problem was it wasn’t on a stage but on a basketball court.

And I was playing badly.

I couldn’t help it. My heart wasn’t in it. Every time I would think about Kurt. I wasn’t shooting correctly and my game in general was off.

I guess I was an idiot not to think people would notice. My teammates gave me dirty stares until eventually my coach pulled me out in the middle of the first half.

I ran towards the bench when the coach blocked my way and stood in front of me.

“What the hell is wrong with you, Maynard!”
