I shook my head.

“No, man. You’re wrong,” I said. “I care about that show. And I care about that stupid gay guy.”

“What are you saying?” Dante said.

“I’m saying...I”

“Are you gay?” Liam said loudly.

I looked around at everyone else in the hallway. I saw a couple people staring.

“No!” I said just as loud.

My heart raced faster than I thought possible. This was the moment I feared all my life and yet it didn’t matter anymore.

Because all that mattered was Kurt.

“Then what’s your problem?”

I paused.

“Play without me,” I said and started walking away. “I’ve got a show to do.”
