I was relieved when school was finally over. All I wanted to do was go home and close my door and be alone. Pathetic, I know.

But as I walked down the halls, I heard someone call my name. I slowed down when I saw it was harry.

“Hey, something wrong?” I asked.

“Hey, sorry to bother you, man. I was hoping we could talk about something.”

“Sure,” I said and we started walking.

“Look, I saw the way you looked at Nairi.”

“What?”

“You like her, don’t you?”

“I don’t even know her.”

“Just be careful, okay. You don’t want to get involved there. She’s got a crazy history.”

“What do you mean?”
