I watched as the houses and shops passed by as we drove on our way to school. I was never a morning person and I hardly felt awake. But it was Monday and that meant if you wanted to or not school waited. I turned to face the front and looked at my dad who was driving and my mom who was busy typing a message on her phone. It was also their first day at work. I wondered if they were as nervous as I was. Probably not. I gave a side glance towards my brother, Michael, who was stalking a girl’s facebook profile on his phone. I turned away before he noticed me looking.
