EMMY

Emmy was on another date with another guy. He was nice and really handsome. And as she sat there and started really enjoying his company, she started thinking. She’d been holding onto her past for so long. Letting her husband’s death stop her from living. And now she was doing the same because of a man that didn’t love her the way she loved him. And she was tired of it.

 Emmy didn’t want to keep hiding from the world, hiding from living. Here she was on a date with a beautiful man that obviously adored her. Why couldn’t she just let herself feel it? And she decided, you know what, she would. And as she laughed at something he said and touched his hand and their eyes met, she realized that she was truly ready to let go. To let go of Colin.
