SIMON

Simon struggled to concentrate on his shift after she left. He felt like smashing the glasses and yelling at her. Yet he felt like getting in his car, speeding over to hers and pulling her into his arms and begging her not to marry that stupid jerk. He felt so angry at her for coming all the way to the bar just to tell him that she was getting married. On the night that he was going to tell her that he loved her. Was that how little he meant to her? Was he just a convenient shoulder to cry on about her husband? Did she ever really care about him?
