Simon kept looking towards the entrance of the bar. She was late. She was never late.

Last night was amazing. He woke up feeling free for the first time in years. It was like a door had been closed. That part of his past that he had held onto for so long was finally over. And it was all because of Emmy.

And as he was looking at himself in the mirror in the bathroom that morning and noticed the goofy smile on his face, he realized something.

He loved her.

He actually loved her and he was fine with that. In fact it was the best thing that had ever happened to him.

And he was waiting for her to come to the bar tonight because he wanted to tell her. He needed to tell her. He was nervous as hell. What if she said no? What if she yelled at...
