Simon wasn’t quite sure why he ended up leaving his apartment. But there he was. Looking at the bar. It wasn’t even his shift. He was off work. But today wasn’t a day he wanted to be awake. Today was a day he wanted nothing else but not to feel. And he only knew one friend that could make him feel that way. And no matter how much he fought it, how much he told himself not to, he gave in. Ashamed he walked up to the bar.
