and I concentrated. I asked it to move and it didn’t, I kicked and nothing happened. I imagined Violet letting us in from the other side and she didn’t. The puppy cried at the wall again and scratched. I closed my eyes and imagined a door there and a handle. In my minds’ eye I saw myself grab a small, rusty looking old door knob and turn it. Opening my eyes, I saw the door knob just as I imagined. I grabbed it and turned, pushing the door open to reveal a dark, dank room.

“How did you do that?” Zias demanded.

“I imagined a door knob and there was one,” I said, my voice low, practically whispering.

“I didn’t see a door knob, just you pushing a wall I already pushed but didn’t budge before,” he told me skeptically.
