I heard my aunt intake a breath. “We suspected something could possibly happen. That is why they didn’t raise you to know who or what you were. Your mother figured you were better off having a normal life. She didn’t even want to begin to train you at thirteen. Again, a Crimson and Grey-eyed pairing is completely unheard of. We don’t fully know what either you or Violet are capable of.”

We. Don’t. Know. Capable. Of. You are dangerous is all I heard.

“Remy?” She asked softly.

“I’m going to go to bed now, thanks for talking to me,” I said mechanically.
