Billy walked into his dressing room at the Jersey City Arena, followed by boos and jeers from the crowd. Their cries of disapproval traveled down the corridor and Jack eventually shut them out by slamming the door closed. Billy’s head was cloudy and he was happy to sit down. Jack paced back and forth a few times as Billy watched him from the corner of his eye.
“Go ahead. Say whatever’s on your mind, Jack.”
Jack stopped and faced Billy, his hands on his hips. “What the hell was that all about?” he finally asked. “Ten ball busting rounds of hugs and ass grabbing! I didn’t know if you were gonna fight’m or kiss’m!”
