“Nittix, I’m getting tired of this,” Larry complained, leaning against the sink and looking into the bathroom mirror. He seemed to have aged twenty years since the first trial. “What if this never ends?”
“Larry, please don’t talk like this. It makes me feel deflated,” Nittix replied, floating down on to the lid of the toilet.
Suddenly, the bathroom eased to a stop and the door clicked open.
Larry and Nittix exited the bathroom on to what appeared to be a floating walkway that extended a hundred feet forward to a floating platform. Everything was contained within an enormous transparent sphere, and beyond that nothing but the stars.
The advanced down the walkway. It was like being suspended in an invisible spider web...
