Kal entered the dimensional rift.  He was immersed in blue - blue ocean water beyond the protection of the dimensional bubble, blue chairs, a blue table, and Ki wearing a blue robe of the same hue. 

Sunlight filtered down from the surface of the ocean.

"Well, what do you think?" Ki asked.

"It's very blue," Kal replied sarcastically.

"Of course it is!  It's a boy after all," Ki replied.

"Ki, what in the universe are you talking about?"

The conversation was briefly interrupted when a large squid bumped into the invisible walls of the dimensional pocket.  It was then that Kal heard a sniffling series of grunts.

Kal narrowed his single eye slit in suspicion.  "Ki, what are you up to this time?"
