Kal appeared out of nothingness and strode across the sand towards the spot where Ki was relaxing under a large white tent.  Kal had assumed that the coordinates telepathically transmitted to him from Ki would lead him to another dimensional rift, but inexplicably they led him here to a beach on the ocean planet Paradiso 6.

Kal chuckled as he approached and noticed Ki’s brightly striped tank top and matching clam digger pants. 

“What’s so funny?” Ki asked, rising up from his lounge chair.

“Your clothes.  Truly now I’ve seen everything to see in the universe,” Kal replied.

“Kal, your sense of style is lacking.  I thank the makers that we were paired together as architects or this universe would be one gray planet after the other. ...
