The waiting in the white room was intolerable.   Larry checked the door to the bathroom for perhaps the tenth time, but it remained sealed shut by some unseen force.  Sighing, Larry sat down on the floor Indian style and waited.  Nittix had opted to take the opportunity to nap, and floated lazily in the air with his eyes closed.

Suddenly there was a click, and five posts rose from inside the floor to form a rough perimeter around them.  The top of each post had a spinning red light.

Larry sprang to his feet and Nittix opened one eye.

"What is this?" asked Nittix.

"The next puzzle, I think," Larry replied.
