Let's fast forward a few weeks to the end of May 2016:

Hormonal Hannah's influence on Baggy had got progressively worse through April and May. When Baggy had her Lawrence-the-durmoid-cyst surgery, they also whipped out everything else, including her ovaries. In the pre-op. blurb it said that Baggy would be given lots of advice about the menopause, offered HRT etc. She wasn't! Now whether this was, as Clever Bird suspects, because the surgeons didn't think she needed it; her being an old bird and already in the menopause, or whether they just forgot, Baggy is not sure. But because they didn't speak to her about it, Baggy had no idea just how badly the menopause would now affect her! Hormonal Hannah had taken a strangle-hold on the gang.
