CHANNILLO
The Dreamer Chronicles - Book One - Dreamslayer
By Susan Faw

Series Description:

In a time lost to legend, Dreamers walked the land. The Dreamers controlled the world and ruled with benevolence, sharing the joys of the world of dreams for the benefit of mankind. The living communed with the spirits of the dead as the world of dreams was a conduit to the spiritual realm of the deceased.

That is, until the arrival of the Dreamslayers. The Dreamslayers, by virtue of having access to the world of dreams, took control of the Dreamers and by extension, the natural world of the dreams of humanity.

Whole villages were wiped out in a single night, slain while they slept for resisting the Dreamslayers.

In a desparate attempt to stop the Dreamslayers, a sect of wizards destroyed the entrance to the world of dreams, trapping the Dreamslayers between the world of the living and the dead and denying dreaming to all.

Our story begins in the village of Princeton Glen, where sits an orphanage. The orphans of Princeton Glen are wards of the castle estate. One day the orphans begin to dream and shortly there after they discover that they are being murdered. Someone is killing them but why? A trio of orphans flee the castle and set out to discover the truth about the dangers of dreaming and the purpose of the one who hunts them.
