Today is the last Friday the 13th of the year. I'm having a little trouble comprehending this year is quickly approaching its end. Summer seemed to last an eternity and now winter is here and soon a new year bringing its own set of challenges will arrive at our front doors whether we are ready or not. 

Next year my oldest will be in high school. High school. I can still remember when he was three years old and I was in tears over the fact that soon he would be in kindergarten. All those cliche things people say about parenthood are all true. Time does fly, it's very bittersweet, and you need to take a lot of pictures because in the blink of an eye they grow up. I feel like it was just yesterday that I graduated highschool, so I'm not sure if that makes me less or more quali...
