Human Behavior

War drums are morally and vehemently opposed to the pitter patter

Of little feet as they ascend the staircase

Blithe blankness

Brand new toes

Touch the carpet

Calls of caution run parallel

To

Calls for dinner

Meanwhile an ocean away

Languishing desolate calls remain unanswered

Goddamnit

No one is home

I am alone But I am not lonely

Morning coffee in the ether

Warm stone

Flirts with my blushing veins

Folded hands

Preconceived prayers

To save a soul so pur...
