Last month I submitted to three publications, and heard back from one within a month (which is lightning fast in the poetry world, normal response time was around 3 months). It was not a response I wanted to hear, but they were so kind and encouraging that I had forgotten for a moment that I had been rejected. Those are the kinds of rejections I can get used to, if that makes any kind of sense. Fingers crossed the next ones are that kind. In the mean time, I figured I would share some poems, yes these are rejects but they are my rejects and I love them. Enjoy!
