It is now May. Since I’ve started this series I’ve had ambitious goals I wanted to accomplish, barriers to break down, stereotypes to finally put to rest. While I’ve skimmed the surface on some topics there’s still so much more work that needs to be done. I had also wanted to be able to come back here each month and update everyone on the progress I’ve made with my second book. If you’re a writer and reading this then you know as well as I do sometimes the going is slow as molasses. However, I’ve been doing some dreaming and scheming and a plan is beginning to formulate and that counts as a start now doesn’t it?

On another artistic note, last month in a stroke of pure dumb luck I noticed a local coffee shop displays local artist’s work...
