In order to fully understand a situation, regardless of what it is, you have to look at it from all angles.  You have to be open and willing to change your perspective and really SEE it from someone's side. Time for a mini story:

My sister in law (My brother’s wife) works. Her mom (whom if I’m being honest I talk with more than my own M-I-L) takes care of my niece and nephew while they both work. It’s a great situation. They both earn an income, don’t have to pay for child care, and they can relax (or relax as much as one can while at work) knowing that someone who loves their kids with all their hearts is watching over them. I had no idea my S-I-L had any negative feelings towards working until she showed me a picture on instagram.
