Imp snatched a knife from the pile of weapons they had stripped from the Brownings, slashed through the ropes binding the brothers in a single stroke, then flipped the blade over in her hand to hurl it at the closest fish-man. The knife sunk into the shoulder of the thing with a moist squishing sound, but the creature seemed unfazed.

"I liked that knife," Fred said, pulling free of his chair.

"I'll buy you a new one," Imp said as she unlocked the handcuffs.

Devil Cat freed Jack and called out, "Quick! To the Devil Car!"

Imp led the way to the hidden garage in the safehouse, and Fred followed behind her after grabbing his guns from the table. "Really? The Devil Car? Do you have a Devil House where you keep your Devil Dog?"
