The four of them waited for the police to arrive. The Commissioner himself showed up, staring wide eyed at the conflagration of the mansion. The heat was intense, warming all of their faces. Within minutes, the group had briefed the Commissioner on the night's events.

"Doctor Kindred a villain!" the Commissioner exclaimed. "Why, I was at one of his dinner parties just last month. To think that a robot laboratory was under my feet the whole time!"

At that statement, the lawn collapsed in a fiery display.

"Hopefully you won't judge our city by the events of tonight," the Commissioner said. "Not everyone in this city is a mad scientist looking to steal airships."
