“You want to tell me why she’s wearing your jacket tied around her waist and you got her shoes in your pockets?” Bree asked mildly, but her eyes were dancing.
“No. Where’s the Cali bug?”
Bree just grinned and jerked her head towards the hall.
First order of business was to check on Cali. Hearing that she was okay wasn’t the same as seeing.
I handed my holster and weapon to Bree. I figured Cali had seen enough guns for the night.
