>            ‘’Thanks,’’ I say as I unscrew the bottle cap, put the bottle to my lips and take several large gulps.

            Jude takes his cap and flings it across the room towards a recycle receptacle. It hits the wall above the receptacle and clatters to the floor. I can’t help but smile.

            ‘’Can I ask you a question?’’ Jude asks as he takes a swig from his own green bottle.

            ‘’Sure.’’

            ‘’Do you really enjoy your pastime activity? It seems kind of point...
