As the weeks passed, the kittens were able to climb out of their makeshift house.  Sophie really had her 'paws' full keeping up with all of them, but, of course, Keno and Miss Casey helped her all they could.

     They were beginning to explore a lot, pouncing on bugs and grass stems waving in the breeze.  They climbed up on the porch chairs and rails.  They chased each other back and forth across the porch and up and down the stairs.  Poor Sophia stayed so busy just trying to keep up with all of them.  Keno would try his best to help out by chasing them back to the porch, if they strayed a little too far away.

     Miss Casey loved to watch the kittens playing and their joyful antics made her laugh and smile!
